Thanks for posting the pictures of your knives, Michael. I didn't realize that you owned the engraved bowie knife.

Roger, the embellishment is some of Joyce Minnick's early work. She did the engraving and gold inlay on this knife, and a set of sub hilts I designed and Doug Casteel and I made. I think shortly after that she saw she could keep busy enough just embellishing her husband's knives. And thanks for the compliment!

He is just a little behind on getting me some sketches (shameless nudge :p)

This fellows talent is simply unreal. His work is a stunning mix of very rare skills, aesthetically pleasing too say the least. I cant believe I've never heard of him before. Perhaps I spend too much time in the "Bladesmith Questions and Answers forum". I have just bookmarked his homepage for future drooling sessions.
