Great piece Joe and David! Can't wait to see what Paul does for the leatherwork!! I don't really care for the Cold Steel version but David's take on it looks great!!
 
I did get it today, but it will probably be Thursday before I have it out of David's packaging (if I work straight through).
To give you a visual image, imagine it packed inside a steel pipe with the ends capped and welded shut.:cool:

On a more serious note the knife is really nice and typical of David's unique talents.....and as they say on Forged in Fire....Eeet weel kill!

Is that Baby Mole Rat skin? Because that is pink on my screen as well :)
 
Your monitors are correct. It is PINK. It is leather supplied by the maker and he said the owner specifically requested that leather and that style?????? Mine is not to question why......mine is just to do or die.

Okay guys here we go

When this package got here and I say package because the sheath is as important as the actual blade.......I was truly blown away

This is the longest knife video I have ever done but the project deserves it

I will cherish this piece my friends and hopefully never need to use it for its intended task ........ but one thing is for sure I know it will work :)

Great video and wonderful knife and sheath!! Some day I'd love to walk thru your house/museum of knives, swords and guns... just to see and hold some of these fantastic pieces you have Joe!!
