Again 7/21/99 (Wednesday) at China Doll in the 600 block of H St., NW, across from the Chinatown entrance to the GAllery Place Metro Station.

From: Ivan 6-23-99 755PM EDT Do you guys think there is any problem bringing knives to D.C? I plan either to comedown on commuter train or drive to Shady Grove Metro Station. Do you think there is any problem with knives carried on Metro? Maybe this is a stupid worry to a non existant problem Ivan
 
Ivan, anything over 3" is technically illegal in DC, so you must be careful not to attract any undue attention if you have something bigger. When, and if, I carry something bigger, I make it a point to be as unobtrusive as possible.

I'd consider meeting you guys too, other than it being in the middle of the week. I live in Richmond, Va. and can't get out of work that day. Maybe next time!

Let us know about knife stores down around Richmond way. That's not too far for a day trip. I remember a couple of years ago, some outfit based in Richmond had a web site advertising some pretty good deals. Don't remember the name of the store and didn't bookmark it.
 
Is there going to be a "Show & Tell" portion during lunch? (If you know what I mean)
