I'm still new to beckers (and knives in general) but I was wondering what causes the "Wayne" to appear when you deramp a Becker?

eero, I laid the back the clip a bit but didn't round it on my 9, I think it was hawkhead who did his 9 as a drop point. Mine is just wayned and has an acid etch of a fighting cock

the 7 has retained the black coat but a choil has been added since this shot, kinda looks like dex's choil but the guard is a bit pointier, similar to a swamp rat guard, have been too lazy to snap a pic

Did you carve into the stock grivory, or is that a different material on the 9?

I carved on the stock grivory on both. The 9 has some random pattern while the 7 got the Imperial (Star Wars) symbol carved on it, painted and covered with clear epoxy.

Is there someone who offers this as a service for those of us less skilled with a grinder? I'd like to have a a BK9's clip point laid back/re-ground as well as the ramp removed.

It's the little divot left over from the thumb ramp after it's removed. The Wayne...
