About a month ago I posted on the WTB forum. I got a reply from Randy H. (herringgroup@yahoo.com)
saying he had what I was looking for and I had a trade that he was interested in. After a couple weeks I started to worry, I emailed, he thought I recieved it. He checked in to it and it was sent back bacause of no zip, he then said he would fed ex it the next day and send me a tracking number, that was on the 3rd of Jan. Now he won't even return my email . I guess I can write this one up as a bad experience

Well tell us more about Randy H. (herringgroup@yahoo.com). Have you researched other alternate methods of contact (alternate e-mail, telephone, address etc.). Have you researched any other posts by him? E-mail other members that may have had contact with him. What did you send him for the trade?

Don't give up, family crisis, computer or ISP problem can delay or stop contact. Any help that I can offer will be extended.

I do have a phone number for him but I haven't been able to call due to my weird work week. I don't know if he's a member or not, he didn't give a forum name. The reason I have a phone number is because in one email he said "That he has lost knives and still owed someone money and his ISP went down so he had no contact with the person". Then in one of the emails he sent later "he assumed I had recieved the knife and that he would check into it and that he has never lost a knife and the mail is undependable where's he's from. That's why I think I might have messed up on this deal. It does sound like he travels alot so he might be pretty busy. I'm not real sure how long fed ex takes except for overnight, that's how my wifes medication comes because it has to be put in the fridge.
Hope this might clear up somethings.
 
The first thing that I would do is call that telephone number and determine if it is indeed him. At the longest Fed-Ex would have delivered in a week. What worries me is that his story seems to keep changing.
