axeshully, that "error message" isn't spam, and it's not a problem with the sender's ISP, it's with aol itself, so a gmail account won't help (but i agree, it's a good thing to have :>)

there's been some fiber cuts, and lots of things are hosed here and there. aol is usually reliable, but in this case, somewhere along the line, they are not currently getting all their connections. AIM seems up, but who knows. the delayed part of course means the mail is in a holding pattern - the time stamp would prove they sent it on time, but well, if she takes the first one she got and the mail is delayed an hour or ten, what can ya do?

one I finished myself, an as finished Chainpuri Blade.
I took some artistic license with it, rounded the angle off the back and rounded the cuting edge side a little as well and then put on an African Knobthorn wood handle.
When I got the Chainpuri blade I never dreamed in my wildest moments that it would turn out to be a balance model as well.
It was one of Uncle Bill's favorite khukuris!!!! :D

Great work Yvsa. That sheath is quite striking too. Nice. Don't think I didn't stare at it for quite a while too.

Just recieved the balance by Sgt Khadka, doesn't have the polish of the other khukri's, but it feels great in the hand and chops very well. I believe this is my user!
Thank you Yangdu.

I sent the email a few minutes ago for the Attitude. Lost two minutes talking about work stuff. Really keeping my fingers crossed!

I have the first copy of that "forward curving khuk" at 17.5" and 20 oz. It was sold as the Bura Special hanshee at the time. Cool knife.

Beautiful Movie model. And that Balance is very nice. I already have an older one by Sher but was tempted by this one. Very nice stuff!

Norm

Just going back and correcting an old post. The first copy of this forward curving hanshee had a hidden tang, as does the same one on 2/22. This is a first here with the full tang and buttcap.

Wish I had paid closer attention at the time!
