Deals for 2/2 -- Pix, Padam Villager Dui Chirra, Purna Dui Chirra and Awesome Buys

First of all, I forgive you for picking up like half of the blades I wanted to buy, based on the list :| :P.

Second - did you consider sanding down the handle to a more comfortable size?

Thank you for your forgiveness and I am humbled by your grace and will ensure that I keep you in mind while sharking so that I don't hog up all the tasty daily offerings!
Unless it's a light weight Thamar yek cherra, then all bets are off!

As they say, the knife chooses the man, and in this case I knew that I was not the man for this Purna.
I didn't want to modify a knife that I was quite sure I would not use and probably not keep.

And the full tang handle would make sanding it down a PITA while trying to maintain the handle symmetry.

And the beautiful photo showing the love and dedication from this husband and wife team make it all the more important that this knife finds it's rightful owner ... somehow don't think putting it up on gumtree will be appropriate!

Apologies for any violation of forum rules. Will try to be more aware of them in the future and read the them before I post.

My first thread and I already seem to be on the watch list after introducing myself (:

Will have to be more careful about thinking out loud!

No worries, Kanano. Just be sure to read the links, so I don't havta bonk ya. :D

Yarp, tis how I earned me two well deserved warnings.

You also Darth. Theyre warnings. Just don't repeat them, then they get you actual infractions.

Yeah I learned quick not to test rules, it really is nice to see no grey areas in terms of rules. I know thy were warnings with no penalties, I was just warning him not to repeat my mistakes, and take it to the exchange etc.

Glad to see admins be admins unlike some other forums I've been on!

I'm mostly easygoing up to a point. Not all mods here are that way. The mod who gave you the other warning was going to ban you if you stepped outta line again. That really isn't the way we should be doing things. Yet I'm accused of "throwing my perceived weight around".

I'll always try to speak up for right thinking and action. It's part of the eightfold path.....

Had a chat with him and resolved the issue sensibly, quickly, and easily so it's all good. Another great quality of the admin team here.
Suffice to say I've been trying to watch myself and warn others if they look to maybe be breaking a rule. Near had a panic attack upon getting spoke to by two admins on the same issue but glad it was resolved.
