What a great bunch of blades today that Sirupati is beautiful. I also love the Chiruwa Ang Khola, that is the perfect working blade.

Why am I so poor today?
(Love the Ang Khola.)

that's a really nice CAK there. i'd be tempted to get it and swap out my horn handled one, except that one has some elegance and villager goodness, as well as standard bolsters - silver and black :) it's a keeper i think.

SOMEONE BUY THIS, you won't be sorry

Sweet carving on the Rose. Too bad I'm broke, but somebody will end up with a real winner.

Any chance of ordering a Sirupati just like that one from Sgt. Khadka?

That is without a doubt the best blade shape I've seen in a long time.

Chiruwa sirupati... has there been one like that?

Some beauties out there today.

What a bunch of surprises. Good stuff. I'm always surprised by what the Kamis come up with, the still amazing variations on a form that has been done over and over again.

rosconey2,

I received a "done deal" on this one. Right after my initial post, I sent an email on the baby Chainpuri. As is my habit, I was about to post an "email sent on..." to this thread, but then I noticed that you had already done so. I assumed that you would be the lucky one, so I did not bother to finish the post. Hope you are not having troubles with your email.

:o :)

Yes, considering it's the longest knife ever by Sgt. Khadka, his second heaviest ever, and his first Sirupati, I would say $125 is an incredible deal! What a great blade. You know, that's the kind of handle the 23" Bag Bhairabs should have had; would have made them easier to use for sure. Wish I had seen it first (and had the $! Little detail there...)

Also, the carving on that Rose is something else. Great work all around.

Norm

OOO. The second R4 ever. I love mine. Lovely selections today Yangdu.

Email sent on "18 inch 35 ounce chiruwa Ang Khola by Kumar. Himalayan evergreen wood handle...$140 YBB". Don't know yet if I was in time.

Regards,
Bill
