Hiro Soga shot this for me today at the Pasadena Knife Expo...review to follow. 9 1/8" of West Texas Wind pattern damascus, amber stag, damascus guard and stainless handle bolts.

Very nice. IMO, one of the very top fighter designs in custom knives. Paul couldn't have matched the knife any better.
You did good STeven.
 
Outstanding piece STeven - more than worth the effort to secure that one. Just a gorgeous damascus pattern and some sweet stag. Guard almost looks like wrought iron. Great stuff.

Yes, a pic of one of my knives.....this one was simply too good to keep to myself.

I did not see Richard Rogers and his trademark hat at the show....Ruple, yes...he said he brought 8 knives, and they all sold on Friday...to dealers probably.

I picked up a stag handled two blade slim trapper by Ohta yesterday from Jon Ukman that is da bomb!!

Chuck, there will be no more pics, handle or other, of this El Diablo....I have fulfilled my quarterly photograph contribution quota requirements!;)

I can wait 4 months if they are as handsome as that..I love how the damascus guard really changes the entire feel of the knife..works perfectly with texas wind..
Ohta is as good a knife value as there is in customs congrats on recent gems

Riad...got a real nice 420V(CPM S90V)6" Chef's knife from J.P. Holmes yesterday as well...it has been a good weekend!:D

I think Harvey's wait time is over a year.

Two or better, I believe. Best to call him though if anyone is contemplating an order.
 
Great knife and sheath, STeven! I think that I am beginning to understand
a little about your preferences regarding knives... This one and the one you
bid for on Tim Hancock's table at the AKI. That makes two I know you
