Dear Busse Combat Knives isent my money good enough?

When working in the customer service industry it's important to take a persons tone into consideration so as not to further frustrate or anger them, but by and large you ignore the tone and give them good customer service. It's just good business. I try to take that approach to the forums, because responding to a negative tone will almost always get you a flame war or a perception that the forum as a whole isn't helpful or is bombastic in it's overall tone, even though it's in response to an initial volley.

It is absolutely enough of a reason for busse to just say 'We don't ship this model to this country". If they said 'we're not giving any more reason than that, sorry' I'd say okay and just make assumptions about their reasons. But I wouldn't cease any thought on the subject of why. That they don't ship specifically oversea's effects those customers in those regions. But the statement doesn't directly apply to those in Canada or Mexico. If I were in Canada I'd wonder why they wouldn't ship to sweden, and if that would limit my ability to buy one since the policy is not stated on the website. The why in this case is likely because of a specific USPS restriction to various overseas countries regarding certain types of weapons. It's a starting point for looking into whether such restrictions exist for the many countries in north and south america that have potential customers in them that would pose this same question - without having to bug Jerry and crew for the answer. If there's a restriction on knuckle dusters or daggers to your particular country and your in south america your probably not going to get a shipment from Busse for that model.

Poorly phrased - but a legitimate question that should receive legitimate courteous answers.
 
Just want to say thanks to the once that actualy did help me to find the ansver, fair enough i understand why now thanks for that. Also of all subforums i have been on, i have to say the Busse one got to be the most infested one by trolls and/or simple morons, sure my english isent the best, i got that, but do that realy make me some kind of idiot that dont deserve a ansver? Or is it just a matter of fanboys that can't handle me asking ther knife maker a more or less(matter of oppinion i guess) legetim question?

I just re-read the entire 4 pages and there was no one trolling. Infact a lot of people went out of their way to assist you, help you find another way to get it, offerred to get one for you etc, and even spent a lot of their time surfing the web finding examples of why- to help us all understand why Busse told you they wouldnt ship to Sweden. Now, you mentioned trolling in a previous post, and rudeness which I honestly dont see. I dont even see the before mentioned "go away" or your not wanted here.

The think out of the box comment was referring to you getting one off exchange or getting one from another which is totally logical cause its done here everyday. THere was also the classic Busse humor type of post which is to be expected in any thread thats this long where sending an InFAMOUS piece of INFI to a country could change the outcome of a war....well that was just funny. I dont believe nor do I believe the person that posted thinks we are going to war with Sweden:rolleyes::D


There are a lot of folks here, foreign and domestic, that buy and ship all over the world that do whatever they have to do/ work hard to attend shows to get a piece of INFI. You've heard the saying well this or that aint easy--Well, getting INFI isnt always easy, but nothing in life worth having is:cool:

However, you now coming in here and calling people morons and the most trollsome you've seen on all your forum experiece is just wrong, and you have received a warning. Especially after most everyone tried to help you whether you see it or not.

Please don't let it happen again:)

Sometimes, we dont get everything we want or even how we want it. Its just life. Embrace it. Enjoy it! Learn to overcome it and drink more when you can't. You will live longer and be much happier.:thumbup:


Now, there is a ton of INFI on exchange and a TV hit special model the TG available on website you can satisfy yourself with right now. GO get some! You will be happy you did:)

Also the problem for me has been sorted, ordered myself a custome made tranchknife instead. Hope you all the best of luck, and sorry again for my bad behavior, next time i take a beer and calm down befor posting :)

Hey Victor, thank you very much for the kind email and your sincere post. I for one can attest that you are not the first, and wont be the last. Also, I appreciate your apology as I am sure others here will as well. Its takes a big man to apologize.

anyway, kick back and enjoy the ride. Take everything with a grain of salt. You will learn to read between the lines if you stick around long enough. You will learn to enjoy the good honest ribing around here. It can keep you grounded and honest with yourself.

Yeah, ordering a knuckle knife without permission, because the brass knuckles happen to be attached to a knife sounds like really thin ice to me. I'd make sure to cover all bases before placing an order like that, meaning asking local police, customs and delivery company if everything's green. It never hurts to ask for permission, regardless of whether you're legally obliged to do so or not, especially if you're not 100 % sure.

There are no restrictions to double edged knives for import to Sweden though, if USPS has such a policy, it's not in any way based on Swedish law. Switchblades and balisongs are the only knife types that in themselves demand permission for import.

Its a guy in Sweden that will make it, so its a non issue now :)

But i have been calling cops, toll offices, and so on, been on phone for around 5 hours about this talked with over 20 people and noone can tell me anything, just ther oppinions / teory, thats why i gave up and paid a small fortune to a swedish knife maker instead :)

But thats offtopic i guess, got the ansvers i asked for, but feels like i should check in on this threat time to time anyway :)
