So, a little anecdote will fit nicely right here on that subject.

A Gal I've been interested in held Thudder today (Oh, Thudder is my DB-321; Guess you should know that for the story to make sense; otherwise you might get the wrong idea: we can't have that).
So after pulling her from the sheath, She Gasped, then Exclaimed very Slowly, in these exact words,

"... I LIKE This Knife...!

Then looked up at me expectantly, then gazed back down at the matter separator in her hand, properly grasped at the choil, mind you, very impressive; then said:

... I NEED Knives...!"

Okay, Girl, Put the Blade down now...

She does cut meat for a living, so, I'll "Cut her some slack" but she looked a bit precarious there for a minute, when she went all wide-eyed and wouldn't relinquish the piece for a bit...

Quality Blades elude the grasp of most people; when they handle one, they have a different appreciation for it than the "common paring knife or butcher knife"

They never are the same afterwards, which is Really Okay by me.

Remember:

I’m not a fan of the humps. They should reissue the FBM but without the two humps closest to the handle but keep the one at the Swedge.
