Yeah... its a long story.... drove myself to the doctor then to emergency.... almost passed out in the car when I took a look at myself in rear view mirror.... kinda funny now.....

Otherwise all is good...

I'd love an AK-47..... haven't been keeping up.... when are they available... or did I miss out already??????...... I"d love one of them babies..... did I miss the folder too?????? :confused:

Criswell's are beautiful, but my friend, I have seen 3 broken ones :eek: Now the real kicker?!? Aside from them breaking AFTER his break/leaving :( , they were compiled to be a total of 6 that have ever broke on him in 8+ yrs of sword making. Hopefully Rob comes back.

Anyway, I would say the Busse is gonna take this one in the sword ring. And they came at a good time since I am short a sword (And funds, but that'll change... :) )



The busse site is down so the AK-47 and Skeleton key will be going up soon. Jerry was hoping to get the SK up yesterday, but things must've come up. The sword will follow shortly after

Great info KAAK... Thanks... Hope mine aren't one of the ones that become a statistic.... wonder how they broke? or if there were stress fractures.... do you know????... HMMMM...... I'd agree.... I'd probably climb into a ring with the Busse every time.... would be interesting to go head to head in some tests and see who cuts who.... weren't the early BUSSEs A2 as well?.... mine are 31 and 19 inch blades.... I like the 19 inch the best....
Give us all a heads up if you get the jump on the site going up and the AK's going for sale.... I'm thinking black on black... maybe a tan one too.... Miss talking with you bruddah....
 
I can attest for one breaking that the guy was hitting the last six inches of the blade (Near the handle) against a birch tree :confused: :rolleyes: with atleast a baseball style swing. The forward momentum carried the force and the A2 couldn't take it.

The other two, again, they were hitting branches :( and snapped across the blade. We suspect they missed and hit a rock or something. I don't know why these guys didn't by a busse or an axe lol.

Can wait to abuse the AK-47 :D

Hey any updates on delivery times other than the normal 2 weeks....

I guess the Criswell's will do o.k. on flesh and or Mats huh.... cutting trees is for axes and chainsaws.... :rolleyes: oh I guess a machete would be o.k...... technique is everything.... :) even in the old days... they used to pile up corpses or even live prisoners to test the effectiveness of the blades.... :eek: guaged by the number of bodies they would cut through..... :cool: sheeesh..... I didn't see any of those tests in the Busse links.... guess Jerry must be mellowing in his old age.... :rolleyes:

I remember hearing about those sword tests. Used live prisoners and some would only go through 7 1/2 bodies. Hate to be the last guy :( :eek: :(

It was weird. . .. I was dead asleep. . . then I heard what sounded like an old fashioned can alarm. . you know, the kind with a piece of string tied to a can full of rocks .. . but it sounded different. . . not loud enough to be rocks but more like the sound of a half eaten can of macadamias. . . and then I smelled cigars. . . .. and then I thought I heard the sound of someone chopping down a tree outside of my window. . .. and I knew that you two must be posting!!!!! :eek: :eek:
