Especially that horrible maple stuff. Ever since I tried that it makes me sick just thinking about it.

Maple crown is nasty, I agree.

Crown Royal is GREAT. The crown royal black is good too. But i wont drink the maple. The one time i tried it i didnt even finish the cup.... Thats not like me LMAO
 
Never have tried maple anything, but certainly no inclination to start now.

Before I went no-carb, I thought Yuengling was a darn good beer. While I am happy with the weight loss from no-carb, i do miss beer sometimes.

So bourbon is now the house liquor, either Old Grand-Dad or Evan Williams Black Label.
 
When i was younger, like 17-18 years old, we had a drive thru bar in the old country town where i lived of about 1000 people.... Well If you drove a car they pretty much served you at the window despite any ID.. I started working at 12 years old part time...I graduated high school a year early, and I had a full time job at 17, so I had a car, that i bought myself, at 17. But at 17 years old with bills and a need to party, i never had much money. So id go thru that drive thru window a few times a week and grab half pint of BLACK VELVET whiskey for 2 bucks and change.

Talk about nasty. But cheap and to the point.

Id drink that black velvet before i drink that maple stuff again.... And im a dedicated Crown guy.... but they should of left the syrup on their pancakes.
 
Yeah that maple stuff left me scarred for life. I havent even been able to eat pancakes since I tried it. That taste just will not leave your mouth. I actually considered gargling with gasoline and a lit match just to get it out of my mouth. Perhaps with enough time and therapy I will be able to enjoy pancakes again.

Can't be worse than Canadian Mist, Everclear isn't even that bad. But, sure as hell doesn't mean I'm going to buy a bottle o find out for myself. I trust you Garth

I think the only bourbon i ever tasted was wild turkey.

I need to try a good bourbon. But Ill have to do that at a restaurant or bar. I dont buy bottles unless i know I like it.

Nothing worse than buying a new drink and it turning out garbage but you cant afford another bottle so your left drinking urine.... I do my sampling in town, and then buy my Crown...
 
Morning Thunder tea here this morning. It feels like it might be a Fireball evening by the time I get home from work though. Celebrate the joining of 2 great things that are Busse. In the mail to the shop this morning. I can't (but will have to) wait!
