It's all still being worked out so I don't want to write anything that the people may or may not want "public" yet so I'll wait for Ban to say more. Suffice to say though, it's cool and in the vein of something Ban has already been making.

I know... Sorry for being such a tease on this.

Camped at Big Sur over the weekend. Got to do Pfeiffer Falls and Valley View, which weren't that great and crowded, but the highlight of the trip was definitely the Gorge on the other end. Due to the fires in 2008, the Gorge was a lot more shallow than normal, but that allowed us to swim to the boulders on the other side and did some climbing/hiking in a very beautiful and secluded area! Was going barefoot so didn't get too far, but definitely planning to return with proper footwear. Thanks again Russ for the well written guide!

Onto some pics:

Right on! Glad you guys had a great time! :). Looks like a nice mix of weather. The gorge pool is indeed a lot more shallow than it was before 2008, and it looks like there's a little less water than when I was last there. Definitely still tons of fun to scramble up there and take a dip in the pool. Great pics! I need to pick up a slingshot to play around with on the next car camping trip....

Oh, and he'll yeah, I love my fiskars hatchet for camp work. It's awesome
