So turns out my GFs mom may be in town this sunday and I'd probably have to stick around for a mother's day kinda thing, won't know for sure until closer to the weekend. This weekend may not work so well for me after all for a get together hike. Maybe not one all the way in Santa Cruz anyway, maybe something closer and therefore quicker.

From what Ive read here looks like a hike tomorrow isnt happening so I think Im headed to Metcalf early to see how my new Colt CCO shoots. Anyone that wants to show up the more the merrier. Ban if you go Ill bring the GSR.

Well at least the Colt works, need to get slim grips for it though and maybe adjust the mag release button, its hard to push.
Glad to hear it's reliable so far, your 1911 stable is sexy based on your last couple acquisitions.

Only recently. Up until a year or two ago, possession was allowed, but manufacture, sale, or import for sale was prohibited. They recently revised the code to include possession.

Yeah. I remember they weren't illegal to possess when I bought mine, since they fall under the definition of knuckles made of composite materials or something like that. Now it sits in box with some other stuff...including some now iffy Alpha Innovations force multiplier products.
