Death Chat!!

See you guys tomorrow. I'll call to check where you guys are before heading down, in case you all are out getting food.

You guys have any plans for dinner? I know most of us will be hungry right around that time. Bring out some hardware as I know Mike will be bringing some stuff. I think I may have a knife or two.

cool, what time is dinner? I'll definitely make the meet, but not 100% sure about dinner.

Not sure if I'll get down in time for dinner, depends on how work goes today.

I don't have much hardware nowadays, but I'll bring what I have. :)

well since we're leaving tomorrow for this big 3-d shoot, i am still not positive i will be making it tonight.. :( i have a lot of crap to start packing and take care of, since we are in our new house, i am not exactly sure where everything is?? :o

Maybe people who arent able to go to dinner, we can hit the coffee bar later? :)

Are you saying that you want to hit up the coffee shop ? ;) We will probably have to do that another day because they close around 10:30-11pm or so. That doesn't mean that we can't go before the meeting though :)

Haha fun night, crazy to see stump buster bend that sword. And daniel-san got the girls number!

I'll be free after about 7:30.

I found a good deal on 12 guage OO buck shot U.S. mil surplus in ammo cans for about $0.50 per shell. I might buy a few cans.

I know you are thinking about a shotgun so you might want some yourself.

Guess I should check in here. It was fun meeting y'all the other day. Nate, thanks again for inviting me along.

Anything going on tonight?

You guys hitting up the coffee shop or something? :D

Long day at work. Had to do this when I got home too:

What it looks like in the day:

Supposed to get cold tonight, had to protect our new transplants (tomatoes, cucumbers, thai peppers). Used cut open milk jugs directly over all the transplants. Can't do much with the smaller rectangle planter (EarthBox), but tented out the two larger round tomato containers. Used plastic drop sheets as a second layer for the two large containers. Added 1L bottles of boiling water to each under the drop sheet, and wrapped the containers with space blankets to help retain the heat.

I tested this out last night and monitored the temperature right next the plant under the milk jug in addition to the ambient temp. At 6:30am today, it was 46.4 degrees F outside, but 57.6 degrees in the milk jug  Not bad for overnight with only a hot water bottle :)

Right now, it's 47.3 degrees F outside, and 63.86 degrees next to the plant, in the milk jug. I'm hoping to reproduce last night's results :) We'll see how it goes... it's going to be colder tonight.

Pic from about 20 min ago. It's cooled down a bit outside and warmed up a little more in the jug since the pic was taken.
