Cool, looking forward to your great pics as usual!

Mine was pretty action packed, Wedneday I quit my current job to take on a better opportunity, Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning we had our annual football game, as usual I played running back and defensive line/linebacker and got pretty banged up, afternoon went to my Mom's friends house for lunch, and had dinner at my gf's house. Black Friday morning we left to go shopping (well i mostly waited in line while the girls shopped), got home around noon on Friday and knocked out for the rest of the evening. Got sick from playing football in the rain, and now my body is paying for lack of sleep and pain.
 
You should be invincible at your age ;) Stress (Emotional and Physical) and lack of sleep will wear down the best of us. Take it as your body's hint for you to get some rest.

Man, that is a spectacular sight. Nice enough to go on a picture frame.
 
I wish I could do HDR with my point&shoot (without having to buy third party software), then the pics would be sharper. Crazy that my phone can do it and my camera can't. I have to go back and edit this one, now that I"m seeing it on a large screen, I can see the over-saturated highlights.
 
Looks Yummy! I can't cook for sh!t so I did the Whole Foods turkey dinner dealy. It was actually very good.
 
I know you guys know this already but just a reminder, if you have lights or flashlights or anything electronic you dont use often, take the batteries out. Was going through some stuff and have 3 lights where the batteries leaked. SHIT! Two were no big deal but one was a decent Petzl headlamp.

Lemme see if any of the vids turned out....

Brought my NWA (hiking knife) but my mini-bowie would have easily sufficed for the trip. I think I need to pick up a drop-point EDC or a mini-bowie without the sharpened swedge...something which would allow me to use my thumb on the spine for carving on wilderness trips.

The walk to the falls from my campsite that evening was incredible. Dense fog covered the entire coast, and there was no one on the beach but me for miles. There weren't even footprints in the sand aside from my own. It was a little eerie and ethereal, which only served to accent the beauty of walking on the beach at low tide through this dense fog. The ocean was indistinct from the sky and sand; everything blurred into one gray haze which only grew more indistinct as the sun set. All you could see was the sand you were walking on, the merest suggestion of the coast cliffs, and smooth waves rolling in gently onto the sand from out of the gray. All you could hear was the surf lapping onto the shore. And then when I got to the Alamere Falls, it sort of magically appeared through the fog. Very cool.

Beautiful place and nice pics my friend. I am off to Boulder, CO for a few days. We should do a get together sometime next week.

Nice to be back on the web, and bladeforums once again...glad to see you all had a good holiday, and thanks for all the epic (and tasty) pics :)
