Nate and I were talking about getting together kind of early, to go on a hike and then start the BBQ afterwards.. you're welcome to roll by whenever.. what time is your party at?

I probably need to be there around 5-6pm.

that's plenty of time to be able to come over and kick it.. we can go for a hike, kind of early and start Qing after..:D

Nate-- you're welcome to roll over as early as you want.. what time were you thinking??

Crap, our Jeep is in the shop, don't know if I'll be able to make it this Saturday. I might if I can catch a ride down and back with one of you guys. Might not be able to make it if I end up doing last minute car stuff on saturday though.

Any of you guys selling a car or have a friend you can vouch for that's selling a car? Don't know if the GF and I are going to put money into repairing the Jeep, might be time to cut losses and get a new vehicle. We're looking for something as cheap as possible but reliable, and sooner the better.

ETA: And, anyone know any good mechanics? I want to call some folks for estimates.

Sorry to hear about the Jeep. My brother has one of those in the side back alley corner of the shop that has been a repair in progress for the past 2yrs.

The mechanics right next to my shop are honest folks with reasonable rates. Just tell them you are a friend of mine. I don't think they would want me bitchin at them everyday when I drive past their shop to get to work ;)

I'll keep an eye out for some used cars for you.

Nate - Sounds good, I'll check in with you on Friday night.

Ban - Sweet, I'll check it out. Thanks man

Russ,

Approximately where do you live again? I wanna see if we can work out some of the logistics to get you to the BBQ.

Mike,

Are you ready for that Brushcraft BT4 in A2 yet? You better start on a sheath for it. Nate is gonna have to wait for his because he is picky about steel :p

I was thinking Flat Grind and dull edge so you don't hurts yourself along with some thick hand filling PINK g10 for yours ;)

But Mrpink might try to steel it from me before I even get it to you.

Approximately between you and Nate. More in PM  I can probably catch a ride down with Nate, unless there's another option more convenient for everyone.
