Death Chat!!

I personally like the old school version with the static cord. Might have to bring in my Glocks to the shop ;)

Well the version 2 has a lanyard hole too, and you could remove the belt loop assembly making it just like the original. I guess i'm just different, like me and my snub-nose santoku hahah

Yeah, you just like extra shit that don't need to be there. Get a real IWB holster if that is what you want. Works a whole lot better and you can actually reholster without removing the whole thing. I thought the original design concept was fine. Light and minimal with everything you need and nothing extra that you don't. I always prefer my stuff simple and minimal as possible because I ain't smart enough for the complicated stuff ;)

These should be enough and then some for my glocks. They can still use some tweaking and refining but should work fine for what they are intended.

Ban, looks good, now you need to throw away your old business cards for new ones that include holster services too.

Gimmejr, don't you know? We leave all bright ideas for Dan now haha.

I would rather spend my time grinding. These were just a change of pace to give my mind and body a break from the hard grinding.

Yep, all great and not so great ideas now all require prior 2 cent opinions from Dan before executing ;) hahaha.... He may or may not be able to add value to your ideas so be forwarned ;) He has been on a role lately so it might not be too bad!

Be careful and stay safe out there. Last I heard it was avalanche conditions out there in the sierras.

Hey Guys,

Been a while.... I was wondering if any of you were planning on going to the Western States Traditional Archery Rendezvous at Rancho Neblina in Petaluma during Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-28)? I'm hoping to get a good group together and I already have my wife, dad, dogs and a couple buddies and their families committed. There is room for dry camping and the shoot lasts 3 days with 90 stages if I remember correctly. There are also side matches, Archery Golf, vendors, raffles and other prizes. Heck just come and watch me make a fool out of myself by getting psyched out by the foam turkey targets and trying to shoot my longbow consistantly...that is entertainment enough!!!

Here's a link with contact info for Marilyn... http://www.tbcarchery.com/events.html

Hope to see you guys up here...It should be a blast!!!

Take Care Fellas,

Mike

Damn, this weekend's weather was incredible. Forgot my P&S at home yesterday, so here are just a few iPhone (4, wish I had the 4s...) pics from a little stroll.

Not too shabby for a first time. Are you using a hammer to set the rivets? Did you get a set of dies?

Nice shots Russ.

Cool rock formations.

I bought a punch and die from knifekits but it doesnt work very well. Im better off getting the die that works with an arbor press like yours.

Great pics Russ...and yes it was a fantastic weekend. It's funny, we must have been on the same trip...I was at both wilder ranch and at davenport landing taking in almost identical scenery yesterday...

Hope you all are doin well today!

Yeah, you might have been one of the specks on the bluffs and beaches :) Were you digging for glass too?

Russ,

You HAVE to send those shots into a couple backpacking/hiking magazines!!! Those are incredible!!!!

Gimme...good job on the kydex bending!

Hope all you guys are good!!! Hope to run into you again sometime this year!!!

Mike
