Off to ojibway today. It was a harsh light and the colors seem off on most of the photos today. The last two days of meltdown have taken most of the snow. The dogs enjoyed the extra freedom of being able to run in hyperspeed.

Some of the shady areas still retained a bit of snow and ice...

Lots of deer tracks and scat

Then I ran across this guy - picked clean to the bone

And of course, max doing his best to get intimate with a tree (actually this is his goofy way of jumping the stump)

Looks great kgd. That's a cool area.

Looks like one of the pups was thinking about a snack if you weren't watching.

They definitely had the crazy dog eyes while running full bore.

Now thats' a great time

Love your action shots of the pups .... keep em coming

awesome pics... i just love those action shots of the dogs...:D nice blade selection too..

those deer leg bones make great knife handles...:)

Hi all,

Ken you take some of the coolest pics of your dogs. The pics of your dogs when they are in the air and running. WOW is all I can say. Way to go.
I need to take some classes on taking great photos like that. Your knife selection is top notch if you not mind me saying that. :p
;);) well tuesday is the Big day :D Just before leaving the shop to day I
took the tool makers ink and painted the steel. What are you going to call this so totaly cool new knife you are having made up? LOL I thought about starting on it tonight  but I thought nope I am going to get a good nights sleep and then start on yours and mine  in the morning after a good hike with Kelly girl . Here she is all wrapped ( in what she thinks is hers but is really my poncho liner LOL ) up in her bed roll LOL she is getting a good head start on her sleep for the night.

Well thanks for sharing the pics you posted.

Bryan

Hi Bryan. That is a very cute shot of KellyGirl. She almost looks like a puppy in that one :) When I get those two rascals out in the fields, it isn't like I have to be all positioned right or anything to catch them in crazy-zanyness. Beta's feet hardly ever hit the ground when she is out there :)

Can't wait for this newest knife to be realized. I had created a cardboard cutout already to spec just to get a feel for it. I think it will be great. Well the waiting commences :)

As a teaser for anybody else out there - this one is going to be a bit on the thick side 5/32" and a pretty different shape from most of Bryans knives so far.....It will be fun!

Excellent pics as always!!!!

Sure are alot od dead animal pics floating around here lately.

Great pics! I'm interested in the thick knife you mentioned, is it a new peacemaker? YOU are causing me to want one BIG TIME. Lol!

Rockywolf - the peacemaker is a really interesting knife. At 6" it is still light in the hand and light on the belt. It feels like a smaller knife and I often forget when its on my belt. It actually sees most of its duty in the kitchen has has a permanent home in one of the slots of my butcher block. A great camp blade.

The one Bryan is making for me is different design from his other models. Some of the real fun with working with folks like Bryan Breeden and JK is that they will look at your own design and turn it into reality.

Awesome pic K!
gorgeous spot man, really like the pictures. Something about the setting makes them very pleasing to look at.

Great dog picks ,Ken! They always cheer me right up if I am a bit down. Everyone likes happy puppies.
