Deceiving your better half......

My wife and I are both collectors. She has an ever-growing display of shoes and purses.

Turbulent wives can be a problem for the maker as well as the client. When the client says "do not talk to my wife" his order is red tagged. I always feel sorry for him, but understand having known a few domiinant women myself.

One wife called me - "What do you mean sending XXXXXXX a knife?" and proceed to ream me out like I was selling drugs or porn to her 5 year old. I told her it must have been an error on our part, letting him off the hook.
A few days later he called, apologized for her bad temper and had us ship the knife to his girl friends address.

On the other hand I have had wives purchase a knife for her husband with the caution "Don't you dare tell him how much I spent!"

Life is so much better when both share honestly.

That was priceless!:D Thanks for putting big smile on my face:thumbup:

For any young single bucks reading this and ladies also, there is a book "Getting Together - Staying Together" by Dr. Bill Glasser. I sure wish I would have read it 45 years ago. My life would have known much greener pastures. A team working as a team plows much more ground than when they are fighting each other.
