December Buck of the Month - My Guess ** UPDATE: Released **

Your right, this was fun. Good knife, good price, a real treat right before the Holiday. Thank you Buck, well done.

I almost pulled the trigger on it, but 2 weeks before Christmas just didnt work into my budget. I am glad they sold out. It was tempting me every morning for the last week or so.
I dont know if the question was ever answered as to if Buck had ever made an ebony/nickel silver 112, but yes they have. I still have my birthday present from when I turned 18. It is one of the 25th anniversary 112's from 1988. I didnt know that 1988 wasnt the actual 25th anniversary of the 112 til years later. It is still a cool knife. (I just saw there was another thread started about this) :)

I got mine today and I'm stoked! My indoor pics didn't turn out very good so I'm only including the best one which still isn't very good.

I haven't owned or handled a Buck 112 since I lost mine in a mobile home fire in 1981. It's great to have one in my hands again. Really diggin' the Nickel Silver. Thanks Buck!

Santa was good! Mine has the faintest hints of dark chocolate grain with a slight shimmer like you see with average Koa. I'm very happy with it! After doing so much research on Ebony I've decided to look for some at the Blade Show next year to what the best Exhibition grade looks like. I am leaning towards inlays of Mother of Pearl, Silver, or some kind bright jewels to contrast with the dark black Ebony I have seen in older traditional folders. Drop point super steel mirror polished blade with finger grooves...
