Decided on a PM2, now what steel

Well, that throws a wrench into things bc my heart is sort of set on M390, but I was going to compromise. I checked the Japanese food type name, but I didn’t see pre order option. It just showed out of stock. I hate they charge $15ish shipping too though.

I might just make myself carve out denim scales and live with my Oso Sweet until DLT heard back on their red option.
 
M390 is my suggestion also. If that's the one you want, don't settle. You will only lose money. I see the blue ones pop up on the exchange around the $180 mark shipped (lnib/nib).

But if you do decide to go the s30v route and enjoy black(dlc) blades like myself, then i would suggest looking at the od green sprint run that dlt trading has. It's only $5 more then the regular(camo/black) dlc pm2's go for ($150).
I personally think it looks cooler and it will probably fetch a better price if you decide to sell it down the road since it's a sprint.

Or if you dont mind users, the exchange has regular pm2's (s30v satin or dlc) for cheap. I see them often around the $80-100 mark.

I was going to settle because I didn’t think M3 90 was that user-friendly. But it seems like it’s very user-friendly. That would be my only reason not to go for a high-end steel.

I might wait for user grade pm2 on the exchange. That way I can hold off on the in 390. Too many choices.
 
I scored BNIB S30V on here tonight for $100. I figured that’s a good price to test the PM2 platform while I wait for M390 at DLT - fingers crossed.
 
Satin / Camo. Given the choice, I’d prefer DLC, but I think the wearing would annoy me, so satin is prob best. I can grab a black carry clip I’m sure.

I do like the satin since I’ll probably do a lot of food prep.
