Decided to get an IZULA. Few questions though

I did not get the kit and don’t regret it. I had most all the components that come with the kit and there was some stuff that came with the kit that I didn’t really need.

Just the Izula with a homemade paracord neck lanyard works for me.

if you dont have the components in the kit than it is worth it. but if you already have it save yourself the $5.

I edc my Izula in my right front pocket, sheath tied to belt loop or (some of my trousers don't have belt loops) to a smaller loop I've sewn in the pocket. I adjust lenght of the cord with a cord lock - so the Izula floats in my pocket and the cord lock can catch on the rim of the pocket when I draw the Izula, so I can resheath it with one hand ...
went through several setups until arriving at this one.

Decided to get the kit in OD Green. Still trying to figure out how to attach the sheath to my pants pocket (or belt) so i can unsheath and sheath the knife with one hand

just man up and use two hands for now or you'll be posting pics of your Stitches... :D

You can thumb the sheath off one handed easy enough.

I know i just would like the sheath to be connected to my pants when i thumb it off. gona see is someone could make a custom sheath for me with like the boot clip for the RC3 on it. You guys know anyone on the forums that make custom IZULA sheaths?

That looks pretty cool. U know how much he charges for stuff like that?

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but I simply wrapped paracord around my sheath (through the holes), and then I slip my belt through that. I wear mine horizontally on my belt in a cross-draw configuration, though it could just as easily be worn on the strong side for a reverse draw (handle in hand, blade up along forearm).

Good luck, great blade!

That type of clip while not a dedicated boot clip, may work for boot carry and is probably the most versatile style around. It will also work fine as a pocket clip if you don't mind the majority of the Izula handle sticking out of your pocket. It really shines for belt and waistband carry.

If you're looking for a dedicated pocket clip sheath, be patient. When I get the time I want to develop a pocket sheath that will leave only the circle in the handle of the Izula exposed outside the pocket (and the clip of course). It will be easy to sheath and unsheath the knife one-handed. That's the plan anyways.
