Dedicated BK2 Flagship Photo Thread

Here's one to add to the mix.

Camillus BK2 that was stripped and then Parkerized when I didn't really care for the stripped look.
The scales are Bocote, the fasteners are cut down cabinet bolts from Woodcraft, and the lanyard hole inserts are cut down .45LC shell casings.
Jimping done with a chainsaw file.

Heading out to the desert to do some shooting this afternoon.. I think I'm gonna bring along at least one of the Becker blades and maybe start a little fire while I'm out there. Debating between the BK2 and BK7... but it'll probably end up being the BK2....

I'll get pics of whatever I take

got the knife earlier this week, and i have been itching it to give 'er a go. i have some woods behind my house. there was a tree recently blown down that was blocking the path. the pats weren't on today, so time to see what this big fella can do.

just starting. the tree was about the size of my calf. probably 6-7" in diamter.

done. took 18:55 to get through. i took a couple breaks for pics, and to talk to my son. i wouldn't want to chop trees with a knife. but, it's nice to know you can if you want to (or have to).

i have to tell you. i was super impressed. this is the first 1/4" stock knife i have ever used. it worked great at the big stuff. and honestly, i was shocked how easy it was to control the blade on the little stuff.

but, wait...i like small knives! a good 3" size blade. i am starting to wonder. i blame all of you. :D

About an hour per scale. Ive got 2 sets shippin out to other Beckerheads in about 30 minutes. They aint purdy, but dang do they make a differance in a working blades grip.

Finally got some time to get caught up on a few projects. Did this one today. It's going to a soldier at Ft. Gordon.
