This is my first attempt at a BK2 mod. I softened up the scales with some sandpaper, replaced the scale mounting hardware with stainless, squared and polished the spine, convexed the edge, stripped the paint, done a little etching, removed the nylon from the sheath and reworked it with some leather. This was fun. Think I will get another to do it all again.

How does that hold up to flattening the grind? Seems to me the damn thing is so robust that it would only make it better.
Any perceived loss/gain in performance or whatever?

Lol, I'm a manager of a grocery store. My best friend and his wife, are the owners. We encourage open/concealed carry, and both have a deep love for anything outdoor related. That bk2 you see in that pic, was one of 2 ordered. Mine, that I kinda personalized, and he got one, that he had chosen to keep stock. I might possibly have the best job in the world lol.
