Delica ffg AND endura ffg owners only

The only role that is open to more than one is the "Just for Shiggles" role. For that, I want knives that are a bit more out there.

You need a Cold Steel Rajah 2.
That is exactly what fits that role...you will grin each time you open it.:D
"Clack!!!"

I have several Spydies and my white frn plain edge vg-10 Endura gets the most pocket time. What a great all around knife. Light, sharp, robust enough for its size. I've had it for, I dunno, 5 years maybe? It's just been a great EDC.

I ended up getting the orange delica ffg. I have medium sized hands and when I held both the delica and endura a month or so back I thought the endura was a tad much. A lot of variables went into my purchase such as size (even thought the endura is a steal at $3 more) and really needed all that blade. And I was looking into the future as a knife that wouldn't cross the line with other states length laws. This knife is great no play needs broken in. The downsides is mine was either the first or last blade of the day... Edge is good on one side and pretty even and the other side is steeper. Also goes for the ffg blade one side is good other side towards the top has a slip up. I know it may sound picky I know were all human but Ive heard from others their edges weren't to even. For a $60 knife you should not have to worry about bad grinds on your knife. I don't know if I'll reprofile or not I have a gatco sharpening system and I think it's starting to do better for me now I've been doubting it a little. I might just see how it does before trying to fix it but I know it'll want to roll in spots.

I have a grey endura FFG and its one of the sharpest knives I own, a great slicer and the vg10 has held up to everything Ive ever asked of it. Its a great knife for the money and I really like the size and blade profile as well as how thin and light it is.

I love my FFG Delica 4s, they're great EDCs. I only cut mundane stuff like, envelopes, packages, fruit, cardboard boxes, an electrical cord or two etc... For my urban uses it's tough enough and a great lightweight folder to carry. But the tip is thin, it's not what I would use to attack a concrete block for example.

Have and carry a lot of knives; had to be convinced to try an Endura(had one for a long time but didn't carry) when I finally did, it is great! Use mine for about everything, once in a while I carry something different(like a Griptillian) but go back to the Endura; like it enough that I bought an orange one to take elk hunting.

I use VG-10 blades for my hiking trips. Spending alot of time in rain fog and snow, I want to avoid corrosion or rust on my steel. Im not the best at oiling and cleaning my knives, but Ive never seen a dot of rust on my VG-10 Delica or Caly. I use them primarily for cutting up kindling, hot dog skewers, cutting rope and foraging wild edibles.

I loved mine... i have used it for work at a store job, and used it to slice up a massive amount of boxes every day, cut open plastic wraps, and many more things. For me it has been a great little work horse, vg-10 is also pretty sweet, easy to sharpen and holds a fantastic edge!

I use and carry knives a lot. The Spyderco Endura 4 FFG is the only one I've never had a problem with. That says a lot.

I've carried a brown ffg Delica at work for about a year or so and it has done everything thing I've asked it to. I usually cut tape, cardboard boxes, and zip ties and it performs admirably. Make sure you know your knife laws as well. The Endurance might be too big of a blade to carry in your city/state.

My hold out,is that i have heard so many problems, from people with screw construction knives. Can a man really trust that those screws will stay where they are suppose to be?

If you don't play with assembly/disassembly all the time, start from bottom when you do reassemble, and use some nail polish or loctite on threads you'll be ok.

I think some people would be better off with pinned construction.

I carry a Delica more than I carry my Endura. The FFG version out-cuts a stock saber grind Delica by a wide margin. Delica is better in dress pants where it just disappears in the pocket, where an Endura is too long to do that. I am talking about with the clip removed. Either FFG model carry well clipped in dress pants due to being light and thin.
