Delica in G10?

Hi Sal, thanks for taking the time to debate.

Since you are already producing SS versions of Endura (and Delica) can you approximate how much would it add to the cost?

huugh, what benefit do you expext to come from the added cost?

Basically no wear (spring "movement", position change) - as it is connected with the lock I'd rather have all parts made of more/most durable material.

It's like the molded vs steel clip - both work but steel one is more durable and small increase in price will pay off when, after few years, you don't have to worry about/repair any problem.

(also SS backspacer looks better but that's only added benefit :))

D4 in Foliage green G-10 with full liners (skeletonized of course)?

sal

Does this mean no nested liners? If so, this would hardly be as strong as a common D4. Spyderco found out that nested liners are stronger then side by side onces. If the D4 G-10 Foliage would have no nested liners then the difference would only be the colored G-10 instead of colored FRN, maybe higher weight but hardly higher strength, especially when keeping the 2,5 mm lockbar and blade. Then the gentlemen´s knife Caly3 with its 3 mm non nested liners could be stronger as the new D4. This is not what I´ve dreamt of. If it is what makes the most ELUs happy, no problem with it though. I´m sure collectors would like it.

Best wishes,
JB

Gentlemen, may I add these pics (they are not mine but they illustrate my point) of broken Endura4's spring holder?
