Delivery times?

What has been everyone's experience with typical delivery times from the Hinderer crew? (Mr. Orlando, this is in no way meant as disrespect or questioning of your quoted time to me.) I know that sometimes makers will over-quote in order to give themselves some leeway in getting things out the door. I'm an instant-gratification kind of guy, and with having 3 products on order which are not immediately available, I get antsy!

Currently waiting on:
1. XM-18 3.5" from Hinderer
2. Winkler RnD hawk
3. Holster for my off-duty weapon

All 3 are due within days of each other, so needless to say, this wait is anguishing! Again, this is my dilemma, and in no way meant as derogatory towards any of the maker's who I have orders with. I just can't wait! Think of it like Ralphie waiting for his Red Ryder 200 shot range model BB gun with a compass in the stock.
 
I've not been fortunate enough to be in a position that RH Knives has accepted my order. You do know how lucky you are, right? :D
 
It will be a week longer than I quoted you now! *Insert sinister laugh here*

I am not sure where your order sits without your name, but if it is a non-flipper it is shipping tomorrow, every non-flipper order is I believe. If it is a flipper we should be right on time, but if you want to drop me a line with your info I will gladly let you know where you are in line.
 
Rob, I assume you still have my address, right? I'll gladly take one of those non flippers you've got shipping out tomorrow!

You folks are busy enough as it is, I'm sure. No worries, I have faith it will come soon. It's like waiting for my Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Pin. (Been watching some "Christmas Story" with my boy lately, hence the references.)
 
I know what you mean. I ordered this Big inflateable Doll once and I waited and waited. I got anxious.....

I was afraid I was going to get caught doing what I was doing (alone)

Fortunately, My trusty companion arrived before I got caught driving in the HOV Car Pool Lane :D
 
I ordered a flipper 3.5, and I just got an email today saying that I have a package en route from Hinderer Knives. I should have it next week sometime! I've never seen one in real life, so I'm really anxious to play with it.

Congrats! Next week will be a good week. They are very different than anything else and really something to see and handle (even better when it is yours)

You were the one lucky flipper order that shipped today, spanto with a red scale if I recall.

Now he's gotta post pictures...it's tough to get a good idea of the red G10 from the website...I'd like to see it all together on the knife.
 
I will post pics when I get it. I've never had a red knife before.

You're not alone. Rick and company are so swamped. There's so many of us with clenched teeth, waiting for that wonderful news from Rob that our folders have shipped. It's always worth it in the end when the Postman comes to your door with that box from Hinderer Knives! Then it's WOO HOO!! Dances a jig and acts like a 13 year old that got his first date, while the wife just smiles and thinks what a nut I am!!! :D
 
All this talk of a XM is making me place an order more & more. You will love your Winkler Hawk btw, I placed an order with Dan earlier this year on a RnD & finally received a front spike option in full size & premium wood handle with sig marking delete on the side of the blade. What is required in placing an order? When I looked at Hinderer's website he just had a mailing address for contact info.

To order directly from Hinderer, you must be military or first responder (LEO, EMT, Fire).

Not to derail my thread too far, why would you ask for a maker's mark to be deleted from a piece?
