Delivery tomorrow. Emerson

Got to say, I like it a lot. Simple, large clean lines. Way more robust than expected. So far I diggs it.

Very nice. Congrats!

Did you ever find the Emerson forum? I'm sure we would all like to see pics, and read your opinions over there.

Yeah sure did, and thanks. Gotta say actually quite blown away with how much I like it.

Very nice! The A100 is one of the Emersons I've been wanting to try. Simple and utilitarian. That's one of the things I like about my CQC-7A as well.

Congrats on the buy. Good knife.

Now let it break in. Be patient. If it's a bit gritty, let it be. If it doesn't flick like it's on bearings, let it be. If you're tempted to 'lube' it, let it be. And don't take it apart at this point.

Use it, or at least cycle it a lot, and let it break in. After 1000 openings or so, if it needs some tweaking, do it then. For now, let it break in under factory assembly.

It's a lifetime knife if you treat it right. Break-in will just be a flash in the pan. Be patient.

This is true. the break in period on a new Emerson is very important. Just like a new gun.

You need a 7.
