Both have great reputations for being tough, but which of these is the toughest? Or...is there tougher?

Toughest? I you say my AD20 in 3V, but a Full track or a XM24 are also very (VERY) tough.

I'd put my pocket change on the Hinderer...
But not the mortgage money!

I'd hate to have to live on the difference between them!

Demko has stronger locks, but I doubt you’d need it. I have and love both. I hate framelocks and only own one: a Himderer. It’s one of, if not my most, trusted folder. Homer we does it right and their build quality is phenomenal.

That said, I have two AD20s in 3V. I don’t know you could have a tougher folder, but I’d never use a folder hard enough to find out.

Im going with Demko. I love my ti 3v! Ive had several hinderers but just didnt care for them.

Both are tough enough. Question is more about what lock type do you prefer? Hinderer has a wide range of models as well. I have both. I’m carrying a ti AD 20.5 right now. You ask me if I’d rather beat on a $300 knife vs. a $450 knife, I choose $300.

Demko has a stronger lock; Hinderer has stronger hardware, 1/4" pivot, can run on PB washers, and has a double blade stop (pin + studs). Unless you like to fidget or spine wack, Hinderer all around. A Full Ti Fatty runs circles around a Demko wrt toughness. Period. :)

That being said, might help to specify which Demko/Hinderer you are talking about :)
