No, no, no, that’s too blatant. When you put out a hard stop like that, it’s too easy for them to decline or just laugh it off. The correct response would be, “Those new sebenzas are really sweet. You know, I really could see you with 5 more of them.” Now you’ve got them thinking about how 5 new sebenzas will look with their current collection, pretty much trivializing the fact that they have to actually buy them. Then you sweeten the deal and return the favor by adding, “I might grab a few myself.” Art form.
