Demko Textured Titanium 20.5’s…Knifecenter Exclusive

The 20.5s are super easy to take apart and reassemble. I’m by no means a pro at this, and I find them to be a breeze.
I second Boss Hogg, very easy and clean to take apart and put back. In case you are changing the bearings, no need to fiddle to get a centered blade without play.

I just put skiff bearings in a couple of AD20.5s and it made a noticeable difference in my knifes. They were smooth to begin with, but they open and close with less effort.

I just ordered a AD20.5 Ti textured shark's foot to make it into an everyday carry. Does anyone have an idea on how much of a pocket shredder it is? I can always adjust the clip tension but I may also have to sand a little of the bite below the clip point.

It’s somewhere on the low-middle side of “shreddiness” I’d say. The texture is the only reason for this, as it’s a pretty slim knife overall. I But it’s not a super aggressive texturing or anything, and the clip is fine with the texturing. It’s not a pocket hog by any means. I haven’t had any issues with it with jeans, but I’ve never carried it in something like gym shorts.

I like the stock clip just fine, but I changed my daily carry out to a Lynch for deep carry. The stock clip is much more pocket friendly than your average Cold Steel clip…more like a Spyderco. My daily has the smooth Ti scales btw, and they are great in the pocket, but are of course more prone to slippage in hand than the textured ones.

Thanks for the response! I do like the look of the textured Ti especially given the grip in the hand.

So does DLT Trading.
Thanks for letting us know.

DLT is sold out of the G-10 coyote tan and natural now…still available in sharks foot at KC.

Both still have the carbon fiber sharks foot and black G-10 in clip point or sharks foot in stock.

Same price, so go with whomever you prefer.

Please update your thoughts when you get to spend some time with the knife. I really keep going back to a 20.5 as a daily carry almost every day now…just the perfect all around knife for me…I’d love to see a 4” version though.

I’m feeling like I have to get one of the S35Vn models to compare with my 3V collection. I just really want to know if the heat treat on their 35 is as good as it’s been showing to be for the 3Vs I have.

At first I was delicate with these guys because they’re a bit pricey, but I’ve been really putting them through their paces lately, and have yet to have any issues with rolling or chipping. The lock has also had zero issues. I’m rotating my 20.5s pretty regularly, but I still have only had to lightly strop them so far…no sharpening yet needed…really impressed.

Basically I’d feel confident doing anything with this knife that I would with any folder I’ve ever owned. I still cannot decide between the sharks foot and clip point. Either is just fine.

Okay - I got the new carbon fiber sharks foot in S35VN.

This is actually somewhat important…they have changed the carbon fiber. I prefer the original pattern aesthetically, but the new pattern is much grippier. It’s significantly better for slippage.
