Dendra Defender, New Ti- framelock by Lion Steel

I really want one of these for an EDC does it come with a tool for the pivot? I wish companies would follow ZT and use a screw that u can adjust with a butter knife like on the 0200 and 0300. Of course they didn't use it on the 0560 series :-(

Just saw an unboxing on youtube of the defender model and it does come with a tool. Looks like a really killer knife here guys.

Can anyone tell me what this is on the inside of the lock bar?

Not the green line, that's from a green toothpick I ran across to see if I could scratch it off.

I just checked, and my DPX has the same "rough" surface in the same spot. I am not 100%, but I would say its from a water jet or maybe a laser cut??. My ZT's are clearly machine cut at the lock bar. It looks completely smooth on the ZT, versus the Lionsteel work. The stone wash wouldn't get rid of that, the abrasives would be to large to get in there.. I don't mind it, I never noticed until you pointed it out..

With the amount of knives Lionsteel puts out annually, I bet they have one hell of a shop....with all kinds of tools.
Now that would be a cool shop tour.

Just got back from vacation and had this beauty waiting for me. It's a little rough with the lock and pivot, but I'm sure with some TLC and some lube it will work just fine. Love the knife though. It's so beastly looking and the locking sound is intimidating. Thanks again to ExtremAddiction on a smooth purchase. Great experience from top to bottom. I would recommend going through him anytime.
