Thanks very much guys! Ground to zero or zero grind just means the bevels are ground all the way down to just about nil so there is no(zero) edge ground in. In other words bot sides ground down so far on either side that that meet in the middle. That becomes the edge. That edge is also thinner than the typical edge and some people believe that makes it sharper. Well, it certainly is sharp!
PS. Note the slightly better additional photo. It's snowing here today and totally overcast so I couldn't get much natural light. Gotta get a light set up already, sheesh...
Rich blades are extremely well made. I have one of his very early karambit without ring hole from this future hall of fame. This is the only one I don't intend to trade or sell. I normally don't keep any knife for more than three months but this one is with me for more than three years. :thumbup:
