Destroying a Becker - accidental or otherwise.

I have never had one fail in the woods, or with out some level of WTF!?! OMG!?!?! I Can't Believe That Just Happened!!!!!

I was collecting fat wood once, using my BK2, point drove it in about half way, started hauling on it. Didn't budge. So, I started kicking it.

I got the fatwood.

BK2 was none the worse for wear.

Oh, I forgot, I did break the FFG BK16 while trying to pry some wood apart at the Spring Gathering. That one was most certainly not intentional, but not unexpected either. I was prying apart poplar to make a impro rake.

What BigHoss said. Doing that shortened the blade about 1/4 inch. I wasn't planning on doing that but im glad that I did. Its less threatening that way if I pull it out in public to cut something.

Same here. The guy they were talking to said "Sold!" and bought an ESEE 4 (or was it a 3... Don't remember.)
Well, I have seen no broken Beckers in person, and have only heard of the one aforementioned broken 2 (IIRC). I do remember Brab batonned a lawnmower with his 2.
