It's Tuesday and there's a Hubertus springer in my pocket!

I enjoy everything about this knife. All steel pins and liners with those awesome nickel bolsters and ebony* covers. Just very well made.

*Ebony or cocobolo. Looks more like ebony to me. 🤷

As I recall, for many years, (the 1970s to 1990s!), German-made knives sold for small money - maybe 1/3 or 1/4 of an equivalent Case knife!! Over the years that has changed; instead of copying others, and shortcomings in quality and style, Solingen cutlery has been coming into its own!! It is being recognized for its worth!! That said this hefty, used knife only cost me $20 bucks!!! 😁
This large (4 3/4") Stag Jack from Anton Wingen Jr. is certainly worthy of being carried into the woods!! It kinda weighs down your Lederhosen, so I don't recomend it for weddings and funerals, but for camping and hunting, and picnicking, it is just the ticket!!! Anton Sr. would be proud!!!Wingen big 1.jpgWingen big 2.jpgWingen big 3.jpg
