Did Buck buy out Remington?

I have a Remington Barlow that was made in the USA. I don't think it was made by Buck. I think it was made by Camillus. For warranty work it says to return it to an address in Camillus NY. Perusing the Camillus subforum it appears that Camillus made many Remington knives.
