So you posted a knife for sale but wanted to wait to see if the other knives sold first. Then you told the prospective buyer that if none of knives sold that it wasn't for sale. Next you post the whole story to ask for others input.
Not to get on your case but the whole thing sounds pretty ridiculous on your part. Don't think you wronged the buyer enough to warrant sending him 13 bucks though and I would had just accepted an apology stating that you decided not to sell and moved on.
