Mark said what I was going to. Wuyeah used to post quite a bit and seemed like a nice guy. I know that he's supposed to honor the contract and it's not Ebay's fault he didn't fully understand his mistake. If I were the buyer, I'd let it go as an honest mistake.

We all know better, and we've all made similar mistakes. I know if it were me that made the mistake, I'd hope the buyer would understand and let it go. :thumbup:

Good luck collecting that one. As a seller, I'd take the negative feedback over the $800 loss. :D

Hmmm.... just looked closer at the dead auction. wuyeah does have 236 positive feedbacks and has been an eBay member since March 2001.

You'd think he'd have that whole Buy It Now thing figured out by now. :p

Still, it has got to be an honest mistake, and maybe it was the first time he tried to use the feature.

Fellas, come on now, please give me some credit here. :) Of course I don't expect to collect the fine blade Mr Wu had listed. He obviously made a mistake. I figured some unscrupulous jackass out there might make trouble for him so I used the "Buy It Now" as a placeholder until he realized the error and was able to correct it. Wu has since contacted me and indicated that he wishes to cancel and relist. No problem Wu, rock on brother. :thumbup:

All of that aside, if any of you little piggies has a NMFBM for a buck, heck even a bit more....PLEASE let me know! I NEED one....lol :D

Good for you. I had a similar situation on the Exchange here, where someone listed a Rat Mastiff as a Ratweiler and therefore underpriced it. I said "I'll take it" in the same way, to give him a chance to correct it. But, because he is a good Hog, he decided to let me have it. :thumbup::cool:

Great looking out, Glad to see some people know how to handle things now days. Wu very likley could have been takin into a bad situation if someone less knowledgable or caring made the purchase and expected to recieve the knife at posted price. Again...good job.

Binding contract or not, if someone's going to force you to give up a FBM LE for $1 cause you screwed up filling out the forms I say let them take you to court and try to collect, but I'm sure it wont come to that. :)
