Did my girlfriend buy me a fake s110v paramilitary 2?!

I keep a close eye on that Chinese site known for fakes just for my own knowledge and I have not yet seen a S110V fake. Take your knife and cut a few boxes with it, you will verify really quick that it is genuine (and I'm positive it is).

I use that saying a lot but it does not work here. It would be like being told you are getting a horse and you are given a donkey instead. I know my wife would want to rectify being duped rather than give in to some emotional BS that in the end supports counterfeiting.

Looks good. I had a bout of paranoia over my satin/digicam Military because it didn't feel as smooth as my PM2 and the blade was somewhat uncentered, until I figured out that they tightened the pivot before shipping. A small adjustment later and the blade was centered, everything was smooth as butter.

My thought exactly. The color might be the hardest aspect of that knife to get visually close to on a counterfeit copy.

The jimping would be a cause for concern if it was an S30v blade. What does the cut out around the compression lock look like? How about the milling on the liners? I have not seen any s110v fakes. Do they even exist?

The jimping looks correct to me. At least as far as I can picture the camera angles. On my PM2, the top jimping is sharp, and fairly straight. The choil jimping is angled back somewhat, to give more traction from finger slipping toward the blade edge. Most of the fakes I've seen do not have that choil teeth angle to them.
