Honestly his video helped on a deciding factor, which is the price point/USA made. I own a Gränsfors Scandinavian Forest Axe( im babying it) but i decided on something to play around with but can have a small task purpose especially since "beer drinking camp fire building season" is here for me in my state. Just started this week building them.

Did RMJ slide that head on from the top? Did they install a wedge to attach it to the handle? just like an ax I suppose. I wonder if the non wood handle version is tougher or not.

They are definitely fitted like axes or hammers (They have a kerf, a wedge, and a nail), not like a tomahawk.. Which I deeply prefer, I'm glad they did it this way.



The synthetic handles are definitely tougher. But I prefer the lively natural feel of hickory.
