Did you pass on the NMFBM?

I am with Gravelface and Norcal, but with not working and a 4th surgey on my arm it is not going to be!!

yep. too heavy for me, handles too big, and i lack the funds. it could be fun after heavy modifying, but that would require even more money. actually it would be fun anyway . . . for the little while before my arm got tired.

I passed.
It looked awsome, and really cool! If it had been .320 or more I would have gotten one. But I would rather save the money and have Ban make me a half inch chopper.

Not into big choppers/machetes, but that LE was a beautiful Busse. Not worth $800 just to have laying around though. If I was Bill Gates, yeah it would have been nice for the car trunk. :D

no way i'm passing this one up.

one of a kind, one time only and i'll never be able to afford secondary market prices on this freak of a blade and ultra coveted collector piece.plus its just the nastiest, most badest assdest, convextedest blade that ever existededed.

i shudder at the thought of the secondary market prices on this thing.and when the time comes for me to put a down payment on a house i can just sell my NMFBM...lol.

passing it up?? i'm trying to figure out which CGs to add to the LE. This one is going down in history!!

LE for me. Not passing this up. You can always sell and get your money back if it's too big.

i like big blades....i like my blades to be busses.....i love battles mistresses....so there was no way i was passing this up...my only regret is that i only ordered one....

an LE.....

i remember when the SHBM was first going on sale...could've bought one for around $300 back then....but i passed on it, because i had never spent that much on cutlery before....

never again will i pass on a busse i like....

Hell no, I didn't pass. I'm not a large, young guy like some around here, but the FFBM is nowhere near too heavy to use and carry for me, and the NMFBM is only a little heavier. I'm going to strap it on my backpack, and along with a good puukko on my belt, the NMFBM will do everything that I need a blade for in the woods - and I can leave my axes and hatchets at home. Looks to be the ultimate chopper from Busse, and it doesn't hurt that it's going to be a rare one. I only regret I couldn't amass the funds to buy two.

I've been using my FBM instead of my hatchets more and more, it's a bit more of a workout but then again the knife is useful in the campsite for more than just cutting wood. The NMFBM with its slimmer profile and convex grind should be an even better chopper than the FBM, I can't wait to try it out.

Hahaha I am a Young Large guy and I didnt pass on one. I carry my FFBM around an I think this NMFBM wont be much different to carry except in length. I collect big knives so this is right up my ally. I have a 22 Dui Churra that I carry sometimes and that is still going to dwarf this NMFBM.

Yeah, some of the kukris are just bloody enormous.

With the lag between ordering and paying I figured I could scare up the cash for one so I nabbed an LE. Way to awesome to let this one get by at the factory price. As was said earlier, the blade to hilt proportion is pretty much perfect to my eye. I can hollow out the Tigerhide slabs and stash a couple HACKs in there!!

Yes, I did. For the first time, a Busse actually scared me! I love to use my knives, and I doubt I can use the NMFBM!:eek::eek: I'm a middle-aged lady, and I can still whack through a 2x4 with my BM-E, so I'm set until the HACK is posted! :D
