Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

My capuchin cut various kinds of tape at church.
(We're in a tent in the parking lot till September, so there's caution tape and gaffer's tape. We own the tent, because that was cheaper than renting it all last summer, and apparently a lot of people liked the tent services last year, and some people still don't feel safe in an enclosed crowd.)

And it blithely sundered some wild grape vines this afternoon.

I almost wonder why our ancestors thought we needed back-springs.

I snuck a pic of my dad’s 1950’s schrade walden 808 jr stockman with stainless blades. He carries and uses it all the time alongside a sak.

Broke down cardboard with speed and ease.

I used my sheepfoot on my schrade to cut some window screen, my pruner for some zucchini that were ripe, and broke down some cardboard with the spey…, and the screwdriver in my cadet to tighten a cabinet screw. All before noon. Sheesh I gotta take a break and have some vittles I skipped lunch

My daughter wants a magic wand...what would a good father do...

Either I need to grow some real hands and fingers or learn how to pick a good wood to carve...Holy mother...I have like three blistered fingers...nope, I'm not crying...I'm not...

I dont have time to actually take pics when my knives get used so i thought take a pic of the new pliers i couldn't resist buying today with the knives I use everyday and believe me they are used.

Haven't had need of one yet today.
There is still hope at supper though ... amputate the (likely stale) bread crust on whatever sandwitch it is, and scrape of any daRn yuckie/gross/nasty/disgusting/inedible/unhealthy high in cholestrol ... mayo they put on by "oops", if nothing else.
