One time I caught a squirrel staring down my dog in the back yard. I'd say a cougar is pretty much out of the question!
He's not very brave; won't even jump in the pool with me! Not very loyal either, I caught him snuggling with the "scarecrow" last halloween...but we rescued him from an abusive home so I chalk these things up to emotional scarring and just being a weirdo.

At least he makes me laugh! He's a very lovable dog, that's for sure! I'd happily stand between him and a cougar as he's making his escape - so long as I have a gun handy!
