From what I can infer from these threads, Jerry and crew might be filling orders in order of 'popularity'. My guess for most common orders: 1st - Tanker with Black Canvas. 2nd - Tanker & Tan C. 3rd - Sage and Black C. 4th - Sage + Tan C (?)

Sage/black canvas - #8749: Dinged Mon28DEC15.
I expect a shipping notice by Today/WED and, with luck, will receive it THU/FRI if UPS works New Year's Eve/Day. Otherwise, Mon04JAN16.
(I should have the BIG TG I just snagged off the EX by tomorrow. Lucky me.)

Just got a shipping notification from OOPS: MON04JAN16. Great way to start the New Year! (I'll have them hold it at their facility and pick it up on my schedule instead of playing the 'tag' that a signature requires.)

What are the sheathing options for these besides a custom where you have to send it in? I believe these are not as thick as the TGLB. I don't think the current crop of TGLB sheaths will work on these. Any thoughts?

I've had them and I could not use it. I need kydex.

And on that note.....Just but the TGBG into my Aswelke TGLB sheath and it fits better than the TGLB! No rattle! Looks like the micarta scales are thickened up so the over all handle is about the same as the TGLB. Now, don't quote me on this. For all I know this is a fluke, but it works for me!

I don't have a scale to weigh it. I am also not a weight freak. Feels similar to the LB to me.

I love it. It is different from the TGLB in a few ways you can see. Fuller, spine, choil a bit, and the width is enough to cause it to fit in the TGLB Kydex, but not the leather sheath I had. I thought it would be the other way around. Sweet blade.

Weights are 17.35 vs 18.69 ounces for my samples.

Right, I thought it would fit less snug in my kydex sheath because it is thinner. It actually fits better.

It almost looks like the primary grind reaches higher on the blade. That would be great if it does. I'm liking more and more that I got in on this.

Fuller is much larger, wider, longer on the LB. Blade stock on the BG including the guards is thinner, but the blade width is more and the spine is not melted like the LB. Guards on the LB are radiused/melted also so that might be why they appear thinner in pics, but I have not measured anything other than weight. If you don't really care about INFI, because SR-101 is awesome too... the BG looks better to me. I might get rid of my TGLB with the Leather/Gator Sheath.

The LB fits in both these sheaths, but the BG starts to really bind up in the leather with the edge wanting to push up against the side of sheath cutting into it. Much too hard to insert and remove from leather. Kydex retains either knives guards fine, but yeah seems to fit the BG at least as well even though it is a LB Kydex.

Gah! I'm still waiting to get dinged! I think I ordered on day number 3 or 4 though. I can't believe there is only about a 1 oz weight difference between the BG and LB TG's...

I guess it is not a shocker to me. Just interesting. The .220" stock on the BG vs thicker stock and lightening design details on the LB... even if it was a wash it'd make sense. 1.34 ounces difference for these two... but someone should weigh a thick INFI TG and compare to a INFI TGLB.

Busse says "Nearly 1/3 pound of weight was removed from the original version by using our Light Brigade treatment." 5 ounces and change lighter I would assume.

Crufflers, anyway to get a pic of the top of the spine. I ordered a Patriot Leather sheath like yours( no Gator though). Now from what you said wondering if it will fit ok.

I dunno if that'll tell you anything but I will do later and mic them (stock thickness and largest blade width). When I say wider I mean blade height, not length, not thickness of stock. Width is listed at 1 5/8" for the BG same as the TGLB listing now that I check. In reality, maybe because of the grind... my BG is tight and cuts into the sides of the leather sheath. The sides are thick and there are many layers so no worries inserting a few times, but no one would say it "fits" that sheath. The TGLB slides in and there is a snug fit up high and some retention near the guards even without the snap strap, but it fits like a glove - not OJ's glove.

Yeah and it might just be mine, but I kind of doubt that. I bet there's a pretty easy way to fit the BG to the Patriot though. Routing, shaving, chiseling, scraping some interior leather away. Since I had the combo I have, I just swapped them and called it good... plus I can always carry the TGLB in the kydex if I want to unless I sell it.
