Dinged for BGTG

Here's what I got on my samples tonight:

BGTG
1.598" width
.234" thick

TGLB
1.56" width
.265" thick
 
For me, on my kydex sheath, the BG fits tighter (better) even though the sheath is designed for the LB. The Micarta scales look thicker than the paper on the TGLB.
 
Thanks for the extra info, crufflers. It sounds like the BGTG is a great blade.
 
My BG isn't tighter but the guards are what snap into retention.
I think the unmelted non-radiused guards give better retention in some kydex.

They do. I have an R6 in one too, and one more on some BG - I forget which. Nice sheath pretty good but soft retention. They carry knives too. I found TWO regulators there last year.

I think the retention on mine is just right. What I really like is how their sheaths leave no rub marks at all on my coatings.

Yeah they should never rub off a ton of coating. Retention is different on various styles.

I might just be used to rubber handles. I have tons of RES-C and most of those are pretty tight to thumb out of kydex. Rubber friction. I have some BB's that are just about perfect, like my SYKCO 911.

AZW makes nice stuff but they tend to be tight into the RES-C... like my 511 and 1111... thumb push till it hurts then it starts moving slowly hopefully, hahah.
