Dinged for the ASH-2

Muddy and Black Canvas in the house. Pics to follow. My new favorite long Busse. My shorter favorite was the NMSFNO and longer was the ASHBM. But the ASH-2 has moved into the #1 position. Love the straight handle, and the blade (despite the big belly) feels more nimble than the NMFSH did. Great work Jerry, Garth, and crew! Now we just need this in Satin at a Hog special price!
 
The ASH-2 is amazing ---- it's Definitey a keeper. Oh and they weightaround 20-21 oz ---- which for .22 is really nice

My ASH2 has arrived and man oh man is it nice! Tanker grey with black canvas.

Is it all in my head or is it a little lighter in weight than the NMSFNO? Holding them side by side and it really feels lighter. I have to be imagining things.
 
Well it weighs about the same --- but the reason why it doesn't feel as heavy is because of the balance. The NMSFNO is more of a dedicated chopping mid-large sized blade.
 
Thanks for sharing the pics! I can't wait to get mine. I love the geometry on it and think this is going to be perfect for my use.
 
Received a UPS notice yesterday that I was receiving a package today! Received a notice from Busse that the status of my order had been changed to "shipped". Then received another notice from UPS that the delivery date had changed! Looking at the "tracking", it says that a shipping label had been generated and it is awaiting pickup from Busse. Sooooo, just a little tease! I'm not getting it today after all.:( But since it is only a few hour drive from Northern Ohio to here, it should arrive sometime this week.:D I'll take some pics and post them as soon as it arrives. Black w/ black and red G10.

WoooHoooo! The Big Brown Truck just stopped by my house. Immediately took a couple of pics to post here. Not the best, but here they are. I'll get outside and do some chopping and take more pics later. But here are these for a start. This is one sweeeeeet knife!:D



 
Mine will be here Friday, can't wait. Im curious to see how it performs compared to other Busse knives in its weight class.
 
Got mine in today, started taking some limbs off a dead apricot tree within a minute of pulling it out of the box. Here is mine with his counterpart, BG ASH-1.

You guys are way better with the camera than myself but my ASH-2 just came in (yesterday) below one photo with my BG and then the family photo of all my Steel Heart variants

Nice collection and I like the idea of hanging them if it weren't for a two year old and her traveling stool..

Thanks! The plan is to eventually build a frame and conceal them behind some sort of "art" current idea is an american flag of sorts? unsure how it will all come together..
