Dinged for the Ratweiler....wooooooohoooooo!!!!!

My Rat Should be here anytime now today. Too bad I dont have a smartphone or I would post some pics.

I have held off getting a smartphone so far because I just use a phone as a phone (oldschool) but now Im thinking of getting one just so I can post some pics of my sweet Busse's.
 
^^^^^Get that smart phone lol....mine is coming tomorrow...love to see what the new ratweiler looks like!!!
 
Got my 1/4 Rat yesterday and I must say... I am impressed. It is a beast!

Seems about the same weight as my ASH2 but the ASH 2 is a little more blade heavy. It is heavier than my BG TG. Tha balance point seems to be the top edge of the scales.

The thing I like the most about the Rat is the handle. It is very very comfortable! This one is a for sure keeper.

For the $220 it cost it is the biggest bargain so far in operation 2 weeks and is turning out to be one of my favorite blades!

If you missed out on the Ratweiler ... you sure missed out BIG TIME! :D
 
Mine should be here in the next few hours....this is for sure one of my most anticipated operation 2 weeks blades I have ordered...glad to hear how comfy the handles are...that 1/4 stock with those handles should be awesome!! I'll post up some pics later today

Just tried to weigh my Busse's on my little electronic scale and it said no uh uh. It seems to max out at 17oz. Rat, ASH2, BGTG and BGASH all max it out. But my Rodent 6 comes in at 15.035oz

I have a few pics but the resolution is not that good, will try to post them.

If could only pick one, which knife would you choose out of those, for the rest of life!?:D Seriously would like to know.

Went though stuff I have and thinking what's gonna arrive in future and having hell of time making decisions. Haven't really had this probably with any other knives/company. Almost all the Busse Kin I've had wanted to keep. Can't say that about any other company really. Think I'm losing it. OP two weeks has been VERY great but VERY stressful too. At least for me. Want to try them all and just cant. I'm supposed to be saving up for a vehicle and just keep making orders. Its becoming a problem and kinda bringing me down for my lack of willpower. Lol Busse Kin can be made almost to your exact preference so getting obsessed finding and obtaining your "grail" here will really get a hold of you.

Sorry for rant but minds going bit.:)

Please though out of those which ones for you. Haven't hand my hand on most of those.

Ahh the old one knife question. That's a tough one.
For the money I would take the Ratweiler. If price didnt matter I would take the ASH2.

But then again I absolutely love the grip on the Rat. Much more than the ASH2.

Tough call...
 
I think I'm going to wish I'd gotten the skinny version but I'm looking forward to it regardless.
 
I have the Ratweiler L.E and a thick one soon to arrive --- they're two totally different knives and fantastic for their respective purposes. Cheers!

No sh!+..Get pics up u stingy bastids!:D Some of us don't have ours, or been dinged for them or have ever had a RATWEILER.😢 I swear to Odin if don't get dinged next week for mine cancelling my order and never buying a Busse again!;)

I'm pretty sure got my order in early on this one too. Ugh.
