....Inspired by the oncoming DirtTime 2009 event (which we proudly are helping to sponsor), i have made the Dirty Dirty Comanchero, shown here with my favorite knife of all time, the Swenson Sabretooth, and a new Red Man Comanche Stadia Hawk.

Shown here sporting Real Paracord for Overstrike Protection and Earth Tone Goodness.

Chloroprene friction plugs with stainless hardware in both ends of the .50 caliber polycarbonate Through Tube, which can be battened down to airtight seals when Dirt turns to Mud.

This Dirty Dirty Comanchero has a bit-aligned 1055 steel Cold Steel Trail Hawk atop our proprietary Gen 1 Mk 4-B composite handle - the 'B' signifies a new experimental butt cap we are trying out for greater strength and lighter weight and less volume on these endo-/exo-skeletal composite handles - that's mass that we can now put into the handle for more strength without a costly increase in weight to carry.

the Comanchero is as perfect as a hawk of this size gets IMHO at 19 inches and 20 ounces without hardware, 22 ounces with hardware and protective paracord wrap added.

The Comanchero's design harkens back to when the humble Hawk Project was new, and our Coyote Hawks were known for their simplicity of design, with their elegant black girder joints on the Strike Plates;

Old Style Gen 1 Mk 2 hawks (pictured).

These Gen 1 Mk 4's are quite advanced from those earlier hawks, in all ways - they have a veneer micarta covering we call Snake Skin, which has a pleasant hand-friendly micro-pebble finish. this hawk also has the smooth Snake Belly finish on the Strike Plate with a classy simple black pinline that goes down the length of the face of the handle.

The Snake Skin and Snake Belly option both add considerable strength to the design of the already-strong and lightweight handle.

Price of this hawk is $225 plus shipping and tax (where applicable), or $200 plus tax and shipping if you are one of our previous purchasing Investors, or to anyone who is in public service, military, or scouts, as our humble way of saying, "Thank you for serving! Well Done."

As with all the hawk and sheathwork that we do, this hawk is covered by our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty that we call the Happiness Guarantee.

We don't want you to just use this hawk, we want you to love it.

You can contact my Erica if you need any information on these hawks or others, or would like to simply purchase it;

I gotta make some more of these, i like their non-tactical, low-profile looks coupled with their length, weight, and strength.

Thanks for considering us.
